Holcomb Bus Service continues to help make strides in the fight against Childhood Cancer as well.
Holcomb Bus Service, Alex’s Lemonade and Northwestern mutual are coming together. These organizations are a great fit to help in the battle against Childhood Cancer.
Over the last few years, Holcomb Bus Service has:

– Attended the annual Lemon Ball
– Supported the ALSF by attending and hosting several lemonade stands
Holcomb Bus Service will team with Northwestern Mutual to join the fight against Childhood Cancer by providing the transportation for Northwestern Mutual to CHOP, (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia), on October 21st and October 22nd 2014. Since Northwestern Mutual joined with Alex’s Lemonade to help establish a consistent social awareness in our communities they have provided substantial services and charitable donations. Holcomb Bus Service will help make it possible for them to continue their support as well.
INDEPENDENCE BLUE CROSS BROAD STREET RUN
Holcomb Bus Service loves opportunities to be involved in the communities they serve. On 5/4/2014, Holcomb Bus Service not only had five buses providing transportation to many participants, we also had George Holcomb III as a participant, in this annual and historic event.
In what is becoming a core part of our culture, community involvement is where you can usually find George. The photo shows some friends and colleagues of Holcomb Bus Service who participated with George during the run.
George made us proud finishing the ten mile journey down Broad Street in 1 hour and 36 minutes. George, thanks for representing Holcomb so well during the event and it was our pleasure to help so many other runners achieve their goals too.
Our Community Is What Drives Us
We’re from the greater Southern New Jersey community that we serve. That’s why our core principles of integrity and hard work have not just shaped our business practices, but our commitment to community service and the world around us.
Since 1981, Holcomb Bus Company has partnered with the community to give back for reasons plain and simple – it’s the right thing to do.
We provide transportation to every home game for volunteers of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Soul. We also provide buses for the Hero Run, a 5k that honors the fallen firefighters of Gloucester City each year in October.
Among countless other charitable donations throughout the years, we strongly feel that it is our duty to do our part and give back to those that make us who we are. At Holcomb, serving our community has become tradition and part of our heritage of which we are truly proud.
